🥎🚨 FIELD GLOW-UP ALERT 🚨🥎
Thanks to 2025 Bond dollars at work, our softball fields just leveled up! The new turf is officially in—designed with durability, safety, and long-term value in mind.
✨ What this means for everyone:
• More reliable fields for practices, games, and events
• Safer, more durable surface
• Lower maintenance needs over time
• Taxpayer dollars making a real impact for students and our community
These are your bond dollars at work. 💛

We're forming teams to build a peer education campaign around fentanyl and other drug awareness, as well as a workgroup to join our broader Communities That Care project, which will evaluate student's needs, community resources, and make recommendations about which programs would be best to address those needs.
We need student voices to shape the future of our community!
✨ This is a great opportunity for students to:
✅ Build leadership skills
✅ Make a real difference
✅ Boost their college applications

Oregon City Together (OCT), in conjunction with the school district and the city of Oregon City, is holding a Student Roundtable. We want to hear from you about several topics related to youth mental health, substance use, and wellness. We have three projects coming up this year where student's voices are needed!

OCHS Band Concert TONIGHT!
December 18, 2025
OCHS Auditorium
7:00 pm

We’re continuing to make steady progress across multiple bond-funded projects throughout the district! Here’s a snapshot of where things stand:
🏫 Phase 2 Elementary Schools (Candy Lane, Holcomb, John McLoughlin):
Design development is complete, with teams reviewing staff feedback from November and continuing cost estimating. Community, staff, and family input gathered through conferences is helping inform next steps. Planning is underway for how schools will operate during construction, including preparations for Candy Lane’s temporary transition to the King campus. Vendor selection is also underway for moving services and new playground equipment.
🔧 Oregon City High School – CTE:
Design development is complete, and the project remains in the design phase as plans are refined.
⚾ OCHS Fields & Grounds:
Construction continues to move forward—even through heavy rain. Softball facilities and fencing are complete, work is resuming on the baseball field, and the project remains on track for completion before the spring athletic season. Several new scoreboards are now installed!
🏟️ Pioneer Stadium:
Cost estimating and coordination with the City are ongoing, with construction currently anticipated for summer 2026.
Thank you to our staff, students, families, and community members for your continued feedback and support as we build safe, updated, and future-ready learning spaces for our students.

Congratulations to the Staff and Students who were honored today!

OCHS JROTC Battalion — Annual Cadet Ball
A night of tradition, discipline, and unity
This event was held on December 3, 2025, at Abernethy Center in Oregon City.
The Army JROTC Cadet Ball at Oregon City High School is a formal military-style event where cadets, instructors, and guests celebrate tradition, discipline, and camaraderie. It combines social etiquette with military customs, serving as both a recognition ceremony and a formal dance.
At this event, they had the posting of the Colors, dining-in, honored guests, and ceremonies that reflect who we are and what we stand for.
